Air curtain’s main function is the creation of an invisible curtain of compressed air above the entrance door of commercial, industrial and administrative building to prevent dust, mosquito, and so on. Also it prevents the exchange of temperature between two places (warmth or cold), so wasting of energy will not happen. Air curtain is produced in two kind of commercial and industrial. It is used for bellow mention reasons:
- It prevent the entrance of dust, harmful insects, smoke, unpleasant smells, gas, steam and any kind of environmental pollution from the doors which cause inconvenience in the production process and protection of it’ s controlled situation. This matter specially is important for the doors which should be open during the work time and thus we can practically omit the physical doors in unnecessary times with installing air curtain and make the movement of people and goods easier.
- It makes an invisible curtain of air which would prevent the interchange of temperature between two places. This role of air curtain which is the separation of two cold and warm places is a very important advantage for saving energy. It is very useful especially when keeping a building (factory, office,…) cool and fresh in warm season and also keeping that places warm in cold season need a lot of cost and air curtain can prevent the energy wasting with a high efficiency. In these places the personnel can work with more relaxation. The main usage of this advantage is in cold storages and greenhouses.
- Air curtain prevent the entrance of seasonal wind to the saloons while the door is open. This advantage is used in the cold seasons of year when we have negative pressure with regards to the air conditioning system the building, it prevent the entrance of seasonal wind.(with considering the available defined standards)
